About the role
Join Marriott International as a Front Office Associate (GSA) in Mumbai, where you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring smooth check‑ins, check‑outs and exceptional service throughout their stay.
Key responsibilities
- Process guest check‑ins, check‑outs, room assignments, and late‑check‑out requests.
- Secure payments, activate or reissue room keys, and verify billing accuracy.
- Communicate room availability to guests and coordinate with housekeeping on room status.
- Answer and log guest calls, requests, and concerns, following up to guarantee satisfaction.
- Arrange transportation, provide directions and local information, and operate the telephone switchboard.
- Handle cash, checks, vouchers, and credit‑card authorizations, and reconcile the cash drawer at shift start and end.
- Report any security or loss‑prevention incidents to the appropriate team.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
- Professional appearance, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift items up to 10 lb.
