Front Office Associate – Experienced Candidates

About the role

The Front Office Associate will be the first point of contact for guests at our Mumbai property, handling check‑ins, check‑outs, room assignments and guest inquiries. This position requires a professional demeanor, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process all guest check‑ins, check‑outs, room changes and late‑check‑out requests.
• Secure payments, activate or re‑issue room keys, and ensure billing accuracy.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to monitor room status and resolve guest concerns.
• Operate the telephone switchboard, answer guest calls, and provide directions and information.
• Handle cash, checks, vouchers and credit‑card authorizations, and perform end‑of‑shift cash counts.
• Arrange transportation for guests and visitors as needed.
• Maintain accurate guest records in the computer system and file paperwork.
• Notify loss‑prevention or security of any theft or safety incidents.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
• Commitment to confidentiality and company policies.

• Basic computer proficiency for reservation and billing systems.
• Cash handling and payment processing.
• Clear and courteous telephone etiquette.
