Front Office Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a Front Office Assistant to join our luxury rainforest resort in Athirapally, Kerala. You will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless check‑in and check‑out experience while supporting the overall operations of the front desk.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage professional check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Handle room reservations, cancellations, and guest inquiries efficiently.
• Answer telephone calls, emails, and other guest communications promptly.
• Provide accurate information about the resort, its facilities, services, and nearby attractions.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure smooth guest service.
• Address guest requests and resolve complaints courteously and in a timely manner.
• Process payments, maintain accurate billing records, and prepare daily financial reports.
• Maintain confidential guest records and ensure data privacy.
• Keep the front desk and lobby area clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
• Adhere to the resort’s policies, procedures, and service standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a hotel or resort front office role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Pleasant, customer‑focused attitude with strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Fluent English (excellent), Malayalam (mandatory), Hindi (preferred).
• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field is an advantage.
• Prior experience with hotel property management systems (PMS) is preferred.
