Front Office Agent

About the role

The Front Office Agent is the first point of contact for guests at our prestigious property in Pune. You will ensure smooth check‑in and check‑out experiences, handle payments, and provide accurate information about the hotel and local attractions.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest check‑ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing keys.
• Handle all payment types, including cash, checks, debit and credit cards.
• Manage check‑outs, resolve late or disputed charges, and produce accurate closing reports.
• Answer guest calls and requests, coordinate with Housekeeping for room readiness, and communicate parking or valet procedures.
• Provide guests with directions, property information, and local area recommendations.
• Run daily arrival/departure reports, verify special requests, and ensure report accuracy.
• Perform cash handling duties, count bank at shift start/end, and balance receipts according to accounting guidelines.
• Adhere to safety, security, and company policies while maintaining a professional appearance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Strong communication skills and a courteous, professional demeanor.
• Commitment to confidentiality, quality standards, and teamwork.
