About the role
The Front Office Agent is the first point of contact for guests at The Ritz-Carlton Pune, delivering a seamless check‑in and check‑out experience while providing accurate information and assistance throughout their stay.
Key responsibilities
- Process guest reservations, assign rooms, issue and activate room keys.
- Handle all payment types, including cash, checks, debit and credit cards.
- Manage check‑outs, resolve late or disputed charges, and produce daily arrival/departure reports.
- Answer guest calls and inquiries, coordinate with Housekeeping on room readiness, and communicate parking and valet procedures.
- Provide guests with directions, local area information, and respond to special requests.
- Complete cashier and closing reports, cash personal and traveler's checks, and balance receipts according to accounting guidelines.
- Adhere to safety, security, and company policies, maintaining a professional appearance and confidentiality.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior experience required; ability to learn quickly and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a courteous, professional demeanor.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
