Front Desk Receptionist

About the role

The Front Desk Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients at Valley Fertility Centre in Srinagar. Working full‑time on‑site, you will ensure smooth check‑in and check‑out processes and provide clear information about appointments and clinic procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, manage check‑in and check‑out.
• Answer, route and document phone calls with professional etiquette.
• Maintain the reception area, schedule and confirm appointments.
• Keep accurate patient records, logs and perform basic clerical tasks such as filing, data entry and scanning.
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to support patient flow.
• Maintain a calm, compassionate and confidential environment for patients and visitors.

Required profile

• Strong receptionist and clerical abilities, including appointment scheduling and record‑keeping.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with empathy.
• Professional phone etiquette and ability to handle inquiries courteously.
• Ability to protect patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• High attention to detail, good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional training in office administration or healthcare support is a plus.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or clinic front‑desk setting is preferred but not mandatory.
