About the role
The Front Desk Receptionist provides the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day office operations and supporting senior executives with administrative tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Answer telephone calls courteously, relay messages and manage visitor passes and logs.
- Greet visitors, determine purpose of visit, and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
- Maintain key control, security measures, and monitor reception area for unauthorized persons.
- Book meeting rooms, arrange photocopying, draft letters, and handle courier packages.
- Assist with procurement, inventory management, purchase requests, and record‑keeping of office supplies.
- Support event preparation, attendee communications, and overall event management.
- Update appointment calendars, schedule meetings, and arrange travel bookings (air, rail, road).
- Prepare regular reports, maintain filing systems, and ensure office policies are up to date.
- Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to senior executives, including the Director.
Required profile
- Professional demeanor with ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
