Front Desk Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Front Desk Manager to support the Front Office Manager in overseeing all front‑office functions at our Bengaluru hotel. The role involves supervising the bell staff, switchboard and guest services teams, ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out processes, and driving both guest satisfaction and departmental financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the front desk, bell/door staff and switchboard, maintaining service standards.
• Handle guest complaints, resolve disputes and ensure timely, courteous service.
• Supervise staffing levels, schedule employees and act as backup for the Front Office Manager when needed.
• Communicate business objectives to the team, recognize performance and drive results.
• Monitor departmental financial targets and implement actions to meet or exceed them.
• Lead, coach and develop front‑office staff, fostering a collaborative and trustworthy environment.
• Ensure exceptional customer service through proactive problem solving and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk or a related hospitality role, or
• A 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field (no experience required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead a team, make sound business decisions and uphold integrity.
