Front Desk Executive

About the role

The Front Desk Executive will be the first point of contact for all school stakeholders, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth front‑office operations. This role supports visitors, parents, students, and prospective families while handling administrative duties.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and direct visitors, including parents, students, prospective families, and guests.
• Manage incoming calls and emails, respond promptly, and route inquiries to the appropriate department.
• Maintain school records, student files, and document management systems.
• Coordinate appointments for parents, students, and staff with teachers and administrators.
• Provide information on school programmes, curriculum, admissions, extracurricular activities, and events.
• Address and resolve queries, concerns, or complaints professionally.
• Monitor entrance area for security compliance, maintain visitor logs, and ensure safety.
• Support admissions by scheduling tours, assisting enrolment procedures, and informing prospective families.
• Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.
• Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and stocked with up‑to‑date promotional materials.

Required profile

• Any graduate or post‑graduate qualification.
• 2–4 years of experience in a front‑desk, reception, or customer‑facing role.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to quickly learn school management software.
