French Language Expert

About the role

The French Language Expert will join Orrica Edge LLP’s Bhopal office to provide high‑quality French‑English language support for internal teams and client‑facing projects. This full‑time position involves translation, interpretation, and content review to ensure clear, culturally appropriate communication.

Key responsibilities

• Translate documents, emails and other materials between French and English.
• Interpret spoken French during calls or meetings as needed.
• Review and edit French‑language content for accuracy, tone, and consistency with project guidelines.
• Collaborate with operations, customer support and content teams to deliver precise communication.
• Create or refine French‑language resources, maintain glossaries, and support training or quality‑assurance activities related to language services.

Required profile

• Near‑native fluency in French and strong command of English.
• Bachelor’s degree in French, Linguistics, Translation, Literature or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience as a translator, interpreter or language specialist in a professional setting.
• Ability to work onsite in Bhopal, manage deadlines and handle multiple assignments with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer‑assisted translation (CAT) tools or other translation software.
• Competence in MS Office and online collaboration tools.
