About the role
We are looking for a proactive Freight Broker to manage freight transportation across the United States. The role involves coordinating shipments between shippers and carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining strong business relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate shipments with shippers and carriers.
- Build and manage a reliable carrier network.
- Negotiate freight rates and terms.
- Track shipments, resolve issues and provide customer updates.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. freight regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports.
Required profile
- Minimum 6 months experience in U.S. freight brokerage or logistics.
- Solid knowledge of freight processes and regulations.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Willingness to work night shifts in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Familiarity with load boards.
- Experience using freight management systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
