Freelance US Licensed Attorney for AI Legal Evaluation

About the role

Deccan AI Experts is looking for a US‑licensed attorney to work on a freelance basis, helping to evaluate and improve AI‑generated legal content. You will apply your legal expertise to ensure the accuracy and reliability of AI outputs used in research, compliance, and contract analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Create deliverables that address common legal matters and professional scenarios.
• Review and evaluate AI‑generated legal research, memoranda, case analyses, and documentation.
• Assess AI outputs for legal accuracy, logical reasoning, completeness, consistency, and overall quality.
• Analyze contracts, agreements, policies, and regulatory materials to identify risks and errors.
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI performance in legal workflows.
• Support projects involving litigation support, compliance review, contract interpretation, and regulatory analysis.
• Review peer‑developed deliverables to ensure quality and consistency.
• Contribute domain expertise to enhance AI systems focused on legal reasoning.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD), LL.B., or equivalent qualification.
• Active bar membership or prior qualification to practice law in the United States, India, or another recognized jurisdiction.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an attorney, lawyer, legal counsel, or related role.
• Experience in law firms, corporate legal departments, government agencies, or regulatory bodies.
• Strong understanding of legal research, statutory interpretation, case law analysis, and legal writing.
• Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong written English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast‑paced environment.
