Freelance Event Host/Emcee – In‑Person (Ahmedabad)

About the role

Goodera is looking for a dynamic freelance Event Host/Emcee to lead in‑person corporate volunteering experiences in Ahmedabad. You will be the face of the event, ensuring volunteers feel welcomed, engaged and inspired throughout the activity.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, set up and host corporate volunteering events from start to finish.
• Present program agendas, introduce speakers and guide participants through activities.
• Manage on‑site logistics, including material preparation, volunteer instructions and contingency plans.
• Capture memorable moments and provide post‑event wrap‑up reports.
• Build rapport with volunteers, corporate clients and partner non‑profits to deepen impact.

Required profile

• Strong verbal communication and public‑speaking abilities.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of regional languages is a plus.
• Passion for social impact and volunteering.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing event dynamics.
• Self‑driven, proactive and comfortable working independently.

Required skills

• Fluency in English (additional regional languages advantageous).
• Event facilitation and audience engagement.
• End‑to‑end event logistics handling.
