Freelance Event Host

About the role

Goodera is looking for enthusiastic freelancers to host corporate volunteering events in Madurai. As an Event Host you will create memorable, impact‑driven experiences for employees of client companies, connecting them with local nonprofits and beneficiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, set up, and lead volunteering events tailored for corporate teams.
• Represent Goodera and maintain high standards of participant engagement.
• Communicate clearly with volunteers, building strong connections throughout the event.
• Ensure a seamless start‑to‑finish experience, handling logistics, materials, and post‑event wrap‑up.
• Capture moments to create lasting memories for participants.
• Follow up with nonprofits and beneficiaries to close the impact loop.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and rapport‑building abilities.
• Strong public‑speaking skills to engage and captivate audiences.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of regional languages is a plus.
• Passion for social impact and understanding of volunteering benefits.
• Adaptability to respond quickly to changing event situations.
• Problem‑solving mindset and proactive, creative approach.
