Founding Growth & Community Manager

About the role

YChat is an early‑stage consumer social startup looking for its first growth hire. Reporting directly to the Founder, you will shape user acquisition, community building and go‑to‑market strategy from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Design and run user acquisition campaigns and campus ambassador programs.
• Identify, test and scale new growth channels, referrals and community‑led initiatives.
• Build, manage and engage online and offline user communities, turning members into advocates.
• Create short‑form content for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and other platforms; produce product demos and launch campaigns.
• Collect user feedback, conduct interviews and analyse behaviour to improve onboarding and retention.
• Collaborate with the Founder on storytelling, brand building and product growth experiments.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in growth, marketing, community management or creator ecosystems.
• Passion for consumer internet products and experience building communities or social media pages.
• Enjoy direct interaction with users and can work independently in a fast‑paced startup.
• Motivated to help build a company from its early stages.
