Forward Logistics Technician – Entry Level

About the role

The Forward Logistics Technician supports warehouse operations by handling hardware picking, staging, packing, and shipment verification. Working under established procedures, the role ensures inventory accuracy and timely order fulfillment.

Key responsibilities

• Pick hardware following FIFO policies and stage/pack orders.
• Receive, inspect, and verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Load and unload shipments, perform dock duties, and maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment.
• Maintain inventory records, conduct spot checks, and order supplies as needed.
• Use ticketing systems to log work, track metrics, and provide customer‑service focused support.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations and English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ticketing, inventory and dispatch management systems.
• Basic computer hardware knowledge and ability to learn new software.
• Experience using MS Office, MS Outlook and web browsers.
• Operation of material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification a plus).
