Forklift Maintenance Technician

About the role

Hydro Pneumatic Engineers (Hyd) Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a full‑time Forklift Maintenance Technician to join its Bengaluru team. You will be responsible for keeping forklifts and related material‑handling equipment operating safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on forklifts and associated equipment.
• Execute preventive‑maintenance schedules to reduce unexpected breakdowns.
• Identify mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical issues and carry out corrective actions promptly.
• Maintain accurate service records and coordinate maintenance windows with operations teams.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and participate in root‑cause analysis for recurring problems.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or certification in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Proven experience in equipment or industrial maintenance, preferably with forklifts or similar machinery.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards for industrial equipment and a commitment to safe work practices.
• Ability to read technical manuals, service documentation and schematics.
