Foreman – P&M – Site Enabling Services

About the role

The Foreman – P&M – Site (Site Enabling Services) leads the planning and execution of enabling works on construction sites. Working with equipment and labour crews, the role ensures that temporary infrastructure such as roads, drains, water lines, lighting and fencing is installed and maintained safely and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise temporary road construction, approach paths, culverts, drainage, water supply lines, fencing and general site cleaning.
• Coordinate deployment of plant and machinery (e.g., JCBs, rollers, compactors, water tankers) with the P&M team.
• Monitor site leveling, compaction and back‑filling activities against drawings and specifications.
• Work with site services to install and maintain temporary power lines, lighting systems and diesel generator support.
• Maintain accurate work records, logbooks and equipment usage reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising site enabling works in a construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of safety and quality standards for temporary infrastructure.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades, equipment and material deliveries.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail for record‑keeping.

Required skills

• Operation of JCB excavators.
• Use of rollers and compactors.
• Handling of water tankers and related equipment.
• Experience with temporary power and lighting installation.
