About the role

The Foreman – Plant & Machinery – Site Operations is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day‑to‑day functioning of construction plant and machinery on a building site. The role ensures that equipment is available, operated safely and efficiently, and supports the site team in meeting construction timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations of plants and machinery on the construction site.
• Allocate operators and machines according to worksite requirements and construction schedules.
• Ensure operators follow safe operating practices and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor and log equipment operating hours, fuel usage and site movements.
• Maintain reliable equipment availability to support construction activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising plant and machinery operations in a construction environment.
• Ability to plan and allocate operators and equipment based on project needs.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and SOPs for construction equipment.
• Attention to detail for tracking equipment usage and fuel consumption.

Required skills

• Knowledge of safe operating practices for construction machinery.
• Experience with equipment scheduling and allocation.
• Ability to monitor and record equipment operating data.
