Food Server

About the role

The Food Server position is a full‑time, on‑site role in the Kolkata metropolitan area. You will be the first point of contact for guests, presenting menus, taking orders and ensuring a smooth, enjoyable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests and present menus in a friendly manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and serve items promptly.
• Answer guest questions about menu offerings.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain clean, properly set tables throughout service.
• Process payments according to company procedures.
• Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Provide attentive customer service and support teammates during busy periods.
• Help create a welcoming environment for a consistent dining experience.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Food & beverage service knowledge and basic cooking familiarity (preferred).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Reliability, attention to detail and ability to stand/move for extended periods.
• Prior experience in restaurants, cafés or bars is beneficial but not mandatory.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with basic numeracy for handling bills.
