Food & Beverage Associate

About the role

The Food & Beverage Associate will serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests in a Marriott property in Mumbai. You will ensure tables are set according to event type, answer menu questions, and maintain high standards of service throughout the dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food and drinks, set tables, and answer guest inquiries about the menu.
• Communicate with the kitchen regarding orders, wait times, and special dietary requirements.
• Record transactions in the MICROS POS system and present accurate checks to guests.
• Check in with guests to confirm satisfaction with each course and beverage.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and complete closing duties such as restocking and turning off lights.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies.
• Provide courteous service to all guests, including those with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related Food & Beverage experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
