About the role

The Food & Beverage Associate (Guest Service Expert) at Marriott Hotels creates memorable dining experiences for guests. You will support the restaurant floor by setting tables, communicating with the kitchen, serving guests, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and clear tables, ensuring a tidy dining area.
• Take guest orders, deliver food and beverages, and respond to guest requests promptly.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate orders.
• Maintain cleanliness of work stations, supplies, and service areas.
• Handle menu items, verify information, and assist guests with menu questions.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb unassisted (50 lb with help), reaching overhead, and moving on varied surfaces.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of related experience; no supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Commitment to safety, company policies, uniform standards, and professional appearance.
