Fluid & Hydro‑Mechanical / Thermal Development Engineer

About the role

The Fluid/Hydro‑mechanical & Thermal Development Engineer will design, develop and validate simulation models for aircraft hydraulic and high‑lift systems. You will support model integration across multiple simulation platforms and collaborate with system designers and testing teams throughout verification, validation and certification campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and validate hydraulics and high‑lift system simulation models.
• Provide integration support for models on various simulation platforms.
• Define model evolutions based on evaluation sessions and change requests.
• Collaborate with system designers and testing teams during V&V and certification campaigns across multiple aircraft programs.
• Contribute to the simulation product roadmap and identify new business opportunities.
• Develop tools to support system analysis and verification & validation activities.

Required profile

• B.Tech/B.E. or M.Tech/M.E. in Aerospace, Mechanical or Systems Engineering.
• 2‑5 years of experience in the mechanical/aerospace industry.
• Basic aerospace domain knowledge and familiarity with hydraulic and thermal systems.
• Strong problem‑solving, logical thinking and ability to lead projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility and teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Hydraulic systems and thermal systems knowledge.
• Fluid dynamics, thermodynamics and heat‑transfer fundamentals.
• Physical system modeling using tools such as Simscape or AMESIM.
• Simulation and modeling with Matlab and Simulink.
• Programming in C, Matlab and Python.
