About the role

Mercer Transportation is seeking experienced flatbed owner‑operators to haul over‑the‑road freight across North America. As an independent contractor you will run your own business, select loads that fit your schedule, and benefit from dedicated support.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up, secure, and deliver flatbed loads in accordance with each contract’s requirements.
• Utilize Mercer’s online load board and personal load coordinators to find preferred freight.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and submit it promptly for fast payment.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.

Required profile

• Current Class A CDL with a valid DOT physical.
• Clean driving record (no recent accidents or traffic violations).
• At least one year of recent interstate trucking experience.
