Fivetran Engineer – Data Integration Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Fivetran Engineer to design, build, and support enterprise‑grade data integration solutions. You will work with modern cloud data platforms to create reliable ELT pipelines that power analytics and reporting across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data ingestion pipelines using Fivetran.
• Configure and manage Fivetran connectors for SaaS applications, databases, and cloud sources.
• Implement scalable ELT solutions and data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting.
• Support data migration and modernization initiatives.
• Write automation scripts in Python or Shell to streamline operations.
• Maintain technical documentation, data flow diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployments, and production support.
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure platform reliability and scalability.

Required profile

• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with relational databases and cloud data warehouses.
• Familiarity with Git‑based source control and CI/CD processes.

Required skills

• Fivetran implementation and administration.
• Advanced SQL development and query optimization.
• Cloud data warehouses: Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse.
• Data modeling and warehousing concepts.
• DBT or similar transformation tools.
• Python or Shell scripting.
• Relational databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
• Change Data Capture and incremental loading strategies.
• Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
