Finishing Foreman – Construction Site

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Finishing Foreman to lead interior and exterior finishing activities on our construction sites in Mumbai. You will supervise crews, ensure quality, and keep projects on schedule while maintaining a safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, allocate and supervise daily finishing tasks such as plastering, painting, tiling, carpentry and joinery.
• Inspect workmanship, enforce quality standards and resolve on‑site issues promptly.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers to secure resources and maintain workflow.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintain site cleanliness and keep accurate records of progress and material usage.
• Identify defects, organise repairs and uphold maintenance standards.

Required profile

• Strong supervisory skills with proven experience in team coordination and performance monitoring.
• Hands‑on experience with heavy equipment and construction tools used in finishing works.
• Effective communication abilities for interaction with workers, management and clients.
• Carpentry expertise and practical knowledge of interior finishes, joinery and fittings.
• Maintenance know‑how to detect defects and ensure repairs.
• Relevant technical diploma or trade certification in civil construction; prior experience on finishing projects in Mumbai is a plus.
