Financial Reporting & Planning COE Analyst – APAC

About the role

FMC Corporation is seeking a Financial Reporting and Planning COE Analyst to support the APAC region. The analyst will be responsible for preparing management reports, conducting variance analysis, forecasting, and assisting with annual budgeting to enable data‑driven decisions across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain strong business‑partnering relationships with sub‑region finance teams and global COE groups.
• Prepare consolidated monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, explain variances to budgets, forecasts and prior years, and drive root‑cause analysis.
• Support budget and quarter‑end corporate presentations, focusing on working capital, cash flow, revenue, EBIT and SAR spend bridges.
• Provide technical guidance to sub‑regional teams on management reporting changes and accounting updates.
• Assist with the annual budgeting process, including template preparation and consolidation of business submissions.
• Prepare Long‑Range Planning (LRP) data and collaborate with the MR&P COE Lead.
• Leverage SAP S4/HANA and related planning/reporting platforms (BPC, Fiori, AFO) to improve reporting efficiency.
• Drive process‑improvement initiatives to reduce reporting cycle time and enhance data quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial reporting, variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with regional and global finance teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Experience supporting senior leadership with ad‑hoc financial analysis.
