Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Analyst

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its Finance Operations vertical, focusing on Financial Planning & Analysis. The role involves collecting operational data, performing variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting to support strategic decisions. The analyst will interact with peers, clients and Accenture management, and may work in rotational shifts as required.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, validate and reconcile operational data reports to determine accurate financial outcomes for the business.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis, develop budgeting models, produce forecasts and create scenario‑based financial plans.
• Prepare performance reporting packages and present insights to senior stakeholders to aid decision‑making.

Required profile

• BCom or Chartered Accountant qualification with 5‑8 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset capable of solving increasingly complex financial problems and delivering high‑quality insights.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and when needed, lead a small team or coordinate a focused work effort.
