Financial Controller (Project Finance & SAP)

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller to oversee project financials, ensure accurate budgeting, and manage revenue recognition. The role requires strong analytical skills and hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA finance modules.

Key responsibilities

• Control budgets for projects and monitor project profitability.
• Maintain project inventory records.
• Release purchase requisitions (PRs) and stock transfer orders (STOs) for projects.
• Review customer term sheets and contracts from a commercial perspective.
• Negotiate and finalize ABG/PBG/LC drafts with customers and treasury.
• Monitor status of customer LCs and BGs – issuance, claims, renewal, expiry.
• Manage receivables, forecast cash flow, and perform customer reconciliations.
• Manage payables and conduct vendor reconciliations.
• Verify sales orders and ensure correct revenue recognition.
• Forecast revenue, track unbilled and deferred revenue.

Required profile

• CA, ICWA or MBA in Finance.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial control, budgeting, and SAP finance modules.
• Working knowledge of IND AS and IFRS accounting standards.
