Financial Controller (m/f)

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our team and take responsibility for analyzing operational and financial data, monitoring project profitability, and supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze operational and financial data to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Monitor profitability of projects, business lines and operational activities.
• Prepare regular and ad‑hoc reports and analyses for senior management.
• Develop financial models, forecasts and scenario analyses.
• Co‑create and control budget execution, analysing variances.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend corrective actions.
• Support operational departments with cost analysis and decision support.
• Participate in investment profitability assessments and risk evaluations.
• Create presentations and data visualisations.
• Take part in internal audits, controls and reporting‑tool development.

Required profile

• Higher education in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in controlling, financial analysis or data work.
• Experience handling large data sets and reporting.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to draw business‑relevant conclusions.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and perform under pressure.
• High accuracy, stress resistance and strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (mandatory).
• Microsoft Word.
• Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with AI‑related tools is a plus.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
