Financial Controller – Manufacturing Industry

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead finance functions for a fast‑growing manufacturing operation. The role combines financial reporting, plant finance, cost control, statutory compliance and strategic business partnering.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports and management dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with Ind AS, Companies Act, GST, Income Tax and other statutory regulations.
• Manage plant finance, inventory valuation, standard costing, product costing and manufacturing cost analysis.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial planning with business stakeholders.
• Strengthen internal controls and coordinate audit requirements.
• Monitor working capital, cash flow, receivables, payables and inventory performance.
• Support Capex evaluation, investment analysis and business case preparation.
• Partner with operations, supply chain, procurement and manufacturing teams to improve profitability.
• Lead automation and process improvement initiatives using ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Mentor the finance team and provide strategic decision support.

Required profile

• 8–15 years of finance controlling experience exclusively in a manufacturing environment.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred; CMA or MBA (Finance) also considered.
• Hands‑on experience with financial controlling, plant finance, costing and inventory valuation.
• Proven ability to manage budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting and internal controls.
• Experience coordinating statutory and internal audits.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, high‑growth manufacturing setting.
