Financial Controller

About the role

Plush is seeking a Finance Controller to lead its finance controllership function. The role will ensure strong financial discipline, accurate reporting, robust controls, and regulatory compliance as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end accounting and financial controllership, including monthly, quarterly and annual closes.
• Prepare and present MIS dashboards, providing insights on revenue, margins, operating costs, working capital and profitability.
• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting, collaborate with business heads, and build financial models for new initiatives.
• Manage cash‑flow planning, working‑capital optimisation, and ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
• Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, income‑tax, Companies Act and other statutory regulations.
• Coordinate statutory, internal and tax audits, acting as the primary finance contact for auditors.
• Strengthen internal controls, identify financial risks and implement mitigation measures.

• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, growth‑stage environment.
• Proven experience in finance controllership, accounting, tax compliance and audit coordination.
• Ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for leadership.
