Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the Finance & Accounts function of a skincare manufacturing company. The role will be responsible for overseeing accounting, taxation, budgeting, MIS, audits, treasury, working capital, COGS, inventory, compliance, and overall business finance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete Finance & Accounts function and team.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures and prepare Ind AS financial statements.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow planning, and variance analysis.
• Prepare MIS and financial reports for management decision‑making.
• Manage working capital, receivables, payables, treasury, and banking relationships.
• Oversee GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
• Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
• Monitor COGS, inventory, costs, margins, and profitability.
• Establish strong financial controls, policies, SOPs, and governance processes.
• Support the CEO/CFO with financial analysis for pricing, investments, expansion, and business decisions.

Required profile

• CA qualification preferred.
• 8–10 years of Finance & Accounts experience.
• Proven experience managing finance teams and handling taxation, audits, budgeting, MIS, and cash flow.
• Experience in manufacturing or fast‑growing organisations is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, COGS & inventory, and financial reporting.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, MIS, financial analysis, and working capital management.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency with ERP/accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, or Microsoft Dynamics.
