Financial Controller

About the role

Ridhira Group, a diversified business with interests in luxury wellness retreats, hospitality, real estate, and lifestyle ventures, is looking for a Financial Controller to lead financial governance across its businesses in Hyderabad.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Develop and maintain robust financial control systems and governance frameworks.
• Lead financial closing processes and MIS reporting.
• Drive annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and perform variance analysis.
• Support strategic financial planning, profitability and cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Establish and strengthen internal controls; ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations.
• Conduct financial risk assessments and monitor SOP implementation across departments.
• Coordinate with statutory, internal, GST and tax auditors; ensure timely audit completion and closure of observations.
• Oversee GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC and other statutory compliances.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, working‑capital and banking relationships.
• Support debt management, fund utilization and track project‑wise fund allocation.
• Evaluate financial viability of new projects, review contracts and provide insights for investment decisions.
• Lead and mentor finance and accounts teams across multiple business units.

Required profile

• Proven finance leadership experience in hospitality, real estate, construction, retail or diversified business groups.
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS and other statutory requirements.
• Ability to design and implement robust internal controls and governance frameworks.
• Demonstrated capability in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Experience managing audits and tax compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Leadership experience managing multi‑disciplinary finance teams.
