Financial Controller

About the role

The Finance Controller will lead end‑to‑end accounting and financial reporting for a multi‑geography organization based in Gurgaon. You will ensure compliance with IFRS and local statutes, drive financial accuracy, and support strategic decision‑making across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead accounting, reporting, and month‑end/quarter‑end/year‑end closures across multiple countries.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, Indian GAAP and other local statutory requirements.
• Manage consolidation of subsidiaries, prepare group financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee taxation (direct & indirect) and coordinate tax planning, audits, transfer pricing and compliance reviews.
• Drive process excellence by designing SOPs, internal controls and finance automation initiatives.
• Partner with senior leadership on financial planning, risk management and strategic analysis.
• Lead incorporation and financial set‑up of new overseas entities, coordinating with legal and external advisors.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• Minimum 15 years of finance experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Proven experience with IFRS, multi‑entity consolidation and international tax compliance.
• Strong track record of managing statutory and internal audits.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
