Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for an experienced finance professional to lead the controllership function for our US entity. The role will shape scalable financial processes, ensure statutory compliance, and support our international growth across hardware, supply‑chain and SaaS operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day finance operations, enforce internal policies, approval matrices and financial controls while coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
• Manage timely monthly, quarterly and annual book closures; oversee AR, AP, GL and cash‑flow accounting; prepare MIS, standalone P&L, balance sheet, cash‑flow forecasts and variance analysis.
• Lead consolidation activities, inter‑company reconciliations, revenue modelling and integrations in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for inventory tracking, asset conversion and billing.
• Review and validate provisions for expenses, payroll, taxes and contingencies, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Ensure timely filing of US sales, franchise, estimated and corporate tax returns; liaise with tax consultants on compliance matters.
• Lead statutory, tax and transfer‑pricing audits, resolve queries promptly and maintain audit‑ready documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting and compliance for US‑registered entities.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or US‑qualified CPA.
• Strong hands‑on experience with month‑end closures, audits and tax compliance under US GAAP.
