Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the Accounting & Finance and Information Systems functions at Hyatt Regency Amritsar, ensuring alignment with Hyatt International’s corporate strategies and brand standards. This role balances the expectations of employees, guests, and owners while maintaining robust financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and control all accounting and finance activities.
• Develop, implement, and monitor financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Manage information systems related to finance, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Coordinate with department heads to support operational decision‑making.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior management and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• University degree or diploma in Finance, Hospitality, or Tourism Management.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager.
• Strong problem‑solving, administrative, and interpersonal abilities.
