Financial Controller

About the role

Computacenter India is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join its leadership team. In this role you will safeguard the integrity of financial operations, lead a skilled finance team, and ensure compliance with both local and global standards while supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to align finance services with company objectives and Winning Together values.
• Oversee revenue, inventory accounting, and related processes.
• Manage treasury activities, including cash forecasting, currency hedging, forex revaluation and central reporting.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close, coordinating with Group reporting timetables and tools such as Floqast.
• Coordinate input to Group consolidation and reconciliation using Adaptive.
• Prepare the monthly financial reporting package (Balance Sheet, P&L, debtor/creditor analysis, reconciliations).
• Serve as primary liaison with auditors for external, statutory and internal audits.
• Manage Accounts Payable, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
• Handle Indian tax requirements (IDT & DT) and produce annual balance‑sheet and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Identify and implement process improvements and internal control enhancements.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) and/or CPA qualification.
• 15‑20 years of relevant finance experience, including at least 10 years in a senior finance role.
• Strong knowledge of Local GAAP and IFRS.
• Extensive experience with stock accounting and warehouse management in product‑based businesses.

Required skills

• Floqast (close management tool).
• Adaptive (consolidation and planning software).
• Proficiency in IFRS and local GAAP standards.
