Financial Controller – India & Global Entities

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to lead finance operations for our India entities and global subsidiaries. The Financial Controller will ensure accurate accounting, compliance, payroll, and reporting across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closing and reporting for India and global entities.
• Ensure compliance with Indian GAAP, Ind‑AS, IFRS and other applicable accounting standards.
• Manage statutory audits for Indian entities and coordinate with external auditors worldwide.
• Oversee consolidated financial statements and internal controls.
• Handle tax compliance in India, including direct, indirect, FEMA and transfer pricing.
• Supervise payroll processing for India and US entities.
• Partner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Support ERP implementation and process automation.
• Mentor finance teams across regions and act as liaison with senior management and regulators.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• 10+ years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in a Controller or senior finance leadership role.
• Strong background in Indian statutory audits, tax compliance and regulatory filings.
• Experience with global accounting, consolidations and cross‑border operations.
• Hands‑on payroll experience for India and US entities.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as QuickBooks and NetSuite (or equivalent).
