Financial Controller – Group Accounting & Finance Lead

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Financial Controller to lead our group accounting, financial control, and transaction workflows across multiple IT services entities. This hands‑on leader will manage end‑to‑end AP/AR cycles, ensure compliance, and support strategic acquisitions.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate and manage books of accounts for all group companies, adhering to IndAS, IFRS, or US GAAP.
• Own the full Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, optimizing working capital and collections.
• Standardize accounting policies and scale operations on ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Lead statutory, internal, and tax audits, interfacing with top‑tier accounting firms.
• Ensure compliance with direct/indirect tax, transfer pricing, and sector‑specific regulations (e.g., SEZ/STPI).
• Design and monitor internal financial controls to eliminate operational gaps.
• Partner with leadership on acquisition strategy, financial due diligence, and post‑merger integration.
• Manage and mentor a finance team of 3‑5 members, fostering accountability and development.
• Collaborate with sales, delivery, HR, and operations to align financial policies with project profitability.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA), ICWA, or MBA in Finance from a premium institute.
• 12‑15 years of post‑qualification experience, primarily in IT services or consulting finance.
• Proven experience handling multiple group accounts, legal entities, or multi‑geography consolidations.
