Financial Controller – Global Multi‑GAAP Role

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead accounting, financial reporting and internal controls across our listed multinational group with entities in India, the United States and the United Kingdom. The role will ensure integrated multi‑GAAP reporting, statutory compliance and a unified controllership framework for the global organization.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate group financial statements for India, US and UK entities, handling currency translation and elimination entries.
• Ensure compliance with Ind AS and Schedule III in India, US GAAP in the United States, and FRS 102/UK‑adopted IFRS in the United Kingdom.
• Coordinate quarterly, half‑yearly and annual results for stock‑exchange submissions under SEBI LODR.
• Standardise chart of accounts, reporting templates and consolidation logic across all geographies.
• Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance (Income Tax, GST, federal/state tax, sales & use tax, Corporation Tax, VAT) and manage global transfer‑pricing policy and documentation.
• Lead cash‑flow forecasting, working‑capital management and forex exposure mitigation, collaborating with group treasury on hedging strategies.
• Ensure adherence to RBI/FEMA regulations, ODI/FDI filings, and corporate‑governance requirements in India, the UK and the US.
• Build and lead a global controllership team, providing dotted‑line coordination with local finance leads.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in finance controlling within a multinational environment.
• Proven expertise in multi‑jurisdictional financial reporting and statutory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Indian, US and UK accounting standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with tax compliance, transfer pricing and treasury operations.
• Ability to manage cross‑border teams and drive process standardisation.
