Financial Controller – GCC Finance Team

About the role

Join a global leader in renewable energy infrastructure as a Financial Controller within the GCC Finance team. You will be responsible for high‑quality financial reporting, controls, treasury, budgeting, forecasting and compliance for worldwide operations, partnering closely with regional finance teams and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasting, monitor performance and provide variance analysis.
• Establish and strengthen internal control frameworks, ensure statutory, tax and regulatory compliance, and manage audit processes.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity and working capital; manage banking relationships and optimise treasury operations.
• Oversee monthly and annual financial statement closures, prepare MIS reports and ensure adherence to GAAP and applicable accounting standards.
• Partner with business leaders to deliver financial insights, support strategic initiatives and improve operational efficiency.
• Drive process improvements, implement digital finance solutions and lead initiatives that enhance reporting quality and governance.

Required profile

• Proven experience overseeing financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury and compliance functions.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, audit management and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to analyse financial performance, identify risks and recommend actionable improvements.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across finance, business and tax teams.
• Demonstrated track record of leading process‑improvement projects and implementing best practices.
