Financial Controller – Finance & Accounting Lead

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to lead the Finance & Accounting function for JSW Group’s Global Business Services (GBS). The role will drive strategic finance initiatives, digital transformation and operational excellence across a diversified manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Finance & Accounting strategy aligned with JSW Group’s vision and GBS maturity roadmap.
• Provide senior leadership with insights on financial performance, operational efficiency and business transformation.
• Oversee end‑to‑end finance operations, ensuring accurate reporting under IND AS, IFRS and Group policies.
• Lead service delivery for multiple finance towers, meeting SLAs, KPIs and customer satisfaction targets.
• Champion digital transformation projects including RPA, ERP optimisation, analytics and AI initiatives.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors and outsourcing partners.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 8 years of finance and accounting experience.
• Proven experience in a Shared Services, GBS or SSC environment within a large manufacturing or diversified group.
• Strong knowledge of leading finance practices and exposure to SAP finance processes.
• Demonstrated track record of driving digital transformation and automation.
• Familiarity with steel, cement, energy or infrastructure sectors is a plus.
