Financial Controller – Fast‑Growing SaaS Startup

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to safeguard and scale our rapidly growing treasury as we expand from $10M to $50M ARR. You will own end‑to‑end controllership and daily finance operations, working closely with the CEO, leadership team, auditors, banks and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting, vendor payments, refunds, collections and reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely vendor payouts and accurate invoicing.
• Drive cash‑flow forecasting, monitor burn rate and optimise working capital.
• Partner with leadership on cost‑optimisation initiatives, including vendor negotiations and spend reviews.
• Coordinate salary processing and payroll with an outsourced payroll partner.
• Ensure statutory compliance for GST, PF and PT, reviewing outsourced work and filing on time.
• Maintain banking relationships, handle account operations and coordinate with lenders or financial partners.
• Lead audit management, liaising with a Big 4 audit firm for statutory, internal and external audits.
• Act as a key stakeholder manager with internal teams, auditors, banks, investors and consultants.

Required profile

• 4 to 9 years of experience in finance, accounting or controllership.
• Strong discipline in financial controllership and ability to build scalable finance processes.
• Hands‑on approach with deep attention to numbers, processes and compliance.
• Experience working closely with senior leadership and external partners.
