Financial Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Technology Finance team. Reporting to the Director of Technology Finance, you will support financial operations, reporting, project cost accounting, and planning for the technology function.

Key responsibilities

• Process and review accounting transactions, contracts, purchase orders and invoices for accuracy, taking corrective action when needed.
• Forecast and track prepaid spending, maintain amortization schedules, and prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements for expenses and capital.
• Analyze corporate and regional technology spend, including budgeting, actuals, forecasts and variances.
• Review project costs, contracts, purchase orders and invoices; prepare and report on project costs and technology investments.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles for technology, train users on templates, and provide year‑over‑year variance analysis.
• Identify inefficiencies in finance processes, recommend and implement improvements, and drive cost‑optimization initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA desirable).
• Background in finance, accounting, or operations with experience in project cost accounting and decision analysis.
• Experience in Technology Finance and strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail, ability to adapt to change, and capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MS Office suite.
• Exposure to SAP (preferred).
