Financial Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. Working under supervision, you will analyze internal financial statements, support business partners with decision‑making insights, and help drive improved business results.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze monthly financial results, trends, and key metrics.
• Communicate drivers of the profit and loss statement, including sales, adjustments, and customer factors.
• Partner with the onshore team to meet monthly, quarterly and annual reporting deadlines.
• Support new business initiatives, system integrations and major change‑management projects.
• Assist in preparing quarterly forecasts, the annual financial plan and long‑range plan.
• Document business drivers that affect actuals and forecasts.
• Lead quarterly/monthly financial business reviews with stakeholders and senior management.
• Provide expertise to FP&A projects aimed at process improvement and consistency.
• Respond to ad‑hoc queries from business partners promptly and accurately.
• Serve as backup for other FP&A team members.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of experience in financial planning, management reporting or analysis, preferably in a manufacturing or product environment.
• Clear understanding of profit & loss statements.
• Experience working cross‑functionally in a global organization.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with accounting standards.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to communicate effectively and influence without authority.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Flexibility, teamwork and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
• Educational qualification: CA/CMA (0‑2 years) or MBA in Finance (2‑4 years).
