Financial Accountant

About the role

Linxon is looking for a Financial Accountant to join its Chennai office. You will be responsible for maintaining auditable financial accounting processes, supporting external and internal audit deliverables, and ensuring accurate month‑end reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Support the annual statutory audit and prepare related documentation.
• Perform monthly GL reconciliations, including use of Blackline.
• Prepare and review project‑related audit deliverables and legal statutory reports.
• Assist with month‑end activities such as journal entries, inter‑company reconciliations, and overhead allocations.
• Compile management reports covering aged debtors/creditors, accruals, cash flow, P&L and balance‑sheet analysis.
• Maintain financial accounting procedures, internal controls and authorisation processes.
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis to support business decisions.

Required profile

• Qualified finance professional with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a multi‑location, globally distributed business environment.
• Strong understanding of statutory reporting and audit processes.

Required skills

• Oracle (preferred but not essential)
• Advanced MS Office proficiency
• Advanced Excel skills
• Blackline for reconciliations
