Financial Accountant

About the role

Wildpunch Design Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail‑oriented Financial Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting operations in Lucknow. The role covers the full accounting cycle, from transaction recording to financial statement preparation, cash flow management and statutory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts, including journal entries, ledgers and voucher entries.
• Record all financial transactions in the accounting software.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely vendor payments and customer collections.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and finalize balance sheets, profit & loss statements and supporting schedules on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Prepare and analyse cash flow statements to support liquidity planning.
• Generate periodic MIS reports with variance analysis against budgets.
• Ensure all financial reporting complies with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
• Prepare, reconcile and file GST returns (GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B and annual returns) accurately and on time.
• Compute and deposit TDS, file quarterly TDS returns and support income‑tax filings.
• Assist in statutory, internal and tax audits by preparing schedules and providing required documentation.
• Maintain proper filing and retention of financial records and support internal financial controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance (B.Com/M.Com); CA‑Inter, CMA‑Inter or equivalent is a plus.
• 2–5 years of hands‑on accounting experience, preferably in an agency or services environment.
• Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, GST and TDS regulations.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver accurate financial information.
