Finance Projects Manager

About the role

Sandvik is seeking a Finance Projects Manager to lead finance transformation and cross‑functional projects in its Pune operations. The role focuses on improving finance processes, reporting, automation and digital capabilities while collaborating with Finance, IT, Shared Services and Global stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage finance transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, standardisation and governance across finance processes.
• Drive end‑to‑end execution of finance projects, including planning, implementation, stakeholder management, risk mitigation and delivery.
• Identify and implement process simplification, automation and digitalisation opportunities within finance operations.
• Support ERP implementation, upgrades and finance system enhancements in partnership with IT and business teams.
• Manage cross‑functional finance projects ensuring alignment with business objectives and global standards.
• Drive automation initiatives using Power BI, AI‑enabled solutions and workflow automation platforms.
• Provide project support across financial accounting, AR, AP, GL, banking, taxation, audits, reporting, compliance, fixed assets, budgeting, forecasting and financial controls.
• Support implementation and optimisation of SAP and other finance ERP systems, coordinating with Global Finance and IT teams.
