Finance Operations Manager

About the role

The Finance Operations Manager will lead day‑to‑day financial activities for Dolkhar, a boutique hotel in Leh, Ladakh. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures accurate bookkeeping, compliance with regulations, and financial practices that reflect the hotel’s sustainability and community values.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial statements.
• Produce management reports and analyse financial performance.
• Oversee vendor payments, stakeholder settlements, and operational cost control.
• Support strategic decision‑making with financial insights and forecasts.
• Develop and maintain internal controls, risk‑management procedures, and compliance frameworks.
• Collaborate with hotel leadership and operational teams to align financial processes with daily operations.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in finance and accounting, preferably with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CA, CPA or CMA are a plus.
• Experience in hospitality or service‑industry finance is advantageous.
• Ability to work on‑site in Ladakh and engage with diverse teams.
